Live entertainment
The M Club is a “huge live music venue”, and music media and arts centre, in the centre of Crewe. Open since 2007 we’ve now hosted literally hundreds and hundreds of bands many of whom have gone on to massive success: The Charlatans,The Twang, Athlete, Feeder, The Damned, Stiff Little fingers and The Jam being just some examples.
We actively promote the local band scene, and also try and bring some of the bigger names back to the Crewe , and promote locally to the three universities, MMU, Keele, and Staffs University.
There is nothing else like it in the area, and have been instrumental with CREWE LIVE 08 , & 09, and exclusively host “party in the park” in summer, bringing Jason Donovan , last year, and stars from the X Factor this year.
Other media projects
Within our set up we have a successful recording studio, a community radio station, (thisisthecat.com), and a very successful acting school, (Paul Nicholas acting school).
In addition we “rent out” the venue for practice sessions, music videos filming, and community events, and meetings, creating a media music and arts centre. We also want to house Art and photography exibitions. Also the venue is used for “M Club Learning Difficulties Music Workshop”
